Henna, Oh the magic of henna ... I love how permanent it seems yet how temporary it becomes...
I have been emerged in 100 days of happiness and creativity by trying new things and indulging in discovery.... (some days are documented visually some internally in the hearts camera, some forgotten and remembered in my journal and a few on my Instagram ).
Its now day 68 today and so..... in a gap of time out i decided to paint my hand with henna.
It feels like a science of peace, pretty much the same feeling when i draw. I'm working on some art which focuses on detail for wildsuga and these types of practices help the creative journey, retreat to the universe, move a step closer to breath, closer to divine creator, to a new seeing, to possibly deep silence...... see one of the pieces so far....
It's my first real attempt doing henna and i'm now hooked lol!! I took inspiration from sacred geometry and desert Berber henna of north Africa. I also added a little of my own style. check out some of my pics which also show the henna pealing into a rustic vibe. Forever grateful to share xx
